What have I been doing?

I will be the first to admit that I am the most terrible person when it comes to updating this thing!!
So I thought I should pull my finger out and start getting back into blogging and keeping people up to date with my work on here as well as on my Facebook page www.facebook.com/pages/Lucie-Victoria-Photography/198157873549472.

So its summer, Well nearing the end of summer, and I have spent the summer like every other!
At home on the Isle of wight and working at The Wight Studio ( www.thewightstudio.co.uk ).
Here at The Wight Studio is where I gain more experience working with professional photographer as well as on my own taking photographs at weddings, events, family portraits and small children.
I work in the studio mostly everyday, shooting or editing photos and creating wedding albums. Its a job which started out as just a part time extra money earner and has now turned into a passion as well as a career.

This type of job is one that I feel is most rewarding in many ways, It always makes me smile when I no i have worked hard to capture precious moments such as those at a wedding or of a tiny baby, those precious moments which you cant get back but only capture in the most beautiful way possible.

My new facebook page!

Well I have been doing alot of new work recently as part of my degree  and part of my work at the Wight Studio so I thought I would publish it on Facebook as im rubbish at updating this thing!

A morning with Lesely Smith

As any photojournalist. we love to snap up any opportunity possible to get a great shot! Especially if its of someone well known!

On 1st of February I was lucky enough to be able to Visit Tutbury Castle with my fellow Photojournalist to meet with well knownLesley Smith.
Many of us knew of Lesley from staring along side Yvette Fielding in the TV series 'Most Haunted'. However whilst getting to know her I learnt about the work she does as curator at Tutbury Castle and as a  historian and specialist in sexual practices and conception in reformation England
Interestingly she also spends her time dressing up and taking on the role of  historical figures such as Mary Queen of Scotts and Elizibeth 1st.
Here are some of the Shots I took on the day.
